Three generations of construction. One family standard.

Silverback Enterprises is owned and operated by Johnson Walker III. The company was founded in 2003 — but the Walker family has been pouring concrete and moving dirt across Louisiana since 1952.

Our Story

From a 1952 family trade to a 2003 founding.

The Walker family has been in construction in Northwest Louisiana for more than seventy years. That history is not a marketing line — it is the reason Silverback Enterprises operates the way it does. We learned this trade on family job sites, in family trucks, alongside family workers who taught us how concrete is supposed to be poured.

The Walker family trade today operates across two related businesses: Silverback Enterprises and Walker’s Landscaping and General Construction. The two share equipment, crews, and decades of Northwest Louisiana construction experience.

In 2003, Johnson Walker III founded Silverback Enterprises to take that family standard into the modern Northwest Louisiana market: cities, parishes, school boards, primes, developers, and property owners who need concrete, paving, drainage, and roadwork done right the first time.

Today, Silverback is owner-operated, equipment-owning, and BBB Accredited since 2015. We hold a Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors Highway, Street & Bridge Construction license plus a Residential classification. We are based at 4151 Mansfield Road in Shreveport.

What We Stand For

Four operating principles.

Owned Equipment

We self-perform. The schedule moves because we move it — not because we waited for someone else's truck to arrive.

Local Roots

Northwest Louisiana, every day. We know the inspectors, the engineers, the cadence of City Council, and the rhythm of the parish police juries.

Hands-On Leadership

Johnson Walker III is on the job. Not behind a desk in another state. Decisions get made on site, in real time.

Bid-Ready

Vendor-registered. Insurance current. License current. Bonding line in place. When the bid posts, we are ready to respond.
